SPACETRADER / RELEASE HISTORY

What has improved for you.

New possibilities for your company, a clearer start, and more reliable operations. Here are the most important player-facing changes in recent versions.

These dates belong to the game’s version history. Availability of individual versions may vary by platform.

VERSION 2.6.53 · 12 Sep 2026

Your language stays your language.

  • Your language choice now applies to every company on this device.
  • Loading and importing saves no longer changes the language. On first launch, SpaceTrader detects a supported system language or uses English.

VERSION 2.6.52 · 11 Sep 2026

An entire star system in four languages.

  • The interface, game messages, catalogues, and manual are available in English, German, Japanese, and Simplified Chinese.
  • Language resources and the manual are also available offline. Version 2.6.53 subsequently unified the language choice across the device.

VERSION 2.6.50 · 06 Sep 2026

Clearer help on your first flights.

  • Green outlines mark the tutorial and the next control.
  • The tutorial guide no longer covers game buttons. “Show objective” brings the next step into view.

VERSION 2.6.49 · 06 Sep 2026

Trade simply, then go deeper if you wish.

  • Quick trade remains the direct entry point. The separate exchange offers limit buy and sell orders with reservations, partial fills, and expiry.
  • Calculations use the current fuel price at your ship’s location. Operating costs, missing equipment, and assumptions are shown separately.
  • Risk-free trading exercises and manual help support the start. The economic report shows observed money and goods flows.

VERSION 2.6.48 · 06 Sep 2026

A more understandable start.

  • Tutorial and contract review show the same introductory contract. Acceptance, flight planning, and the return flight to the pickup location are explained more clearly.
  • Protection offers explain possible distress-call income in more detail. An escort ship on a rescue mission cannot be reassigned at the same time.

VERSION 2.6.47 · 06 Sep 2026

Accept contracts faster and respond to danger.

  • The accept button sits beside the contract value. After acceptance, a link leads to dispatchable contracts.
  • Available security fleets can move between stations and answer local pirate alarms. Your own distress calls have limited costs.

VERSION 2.6.46 · 06 Sep 2026

Your first fleet, step by step.

  • New companies choose their first Kato-Mule-1 freighter in the start dialogue. Price, crew, and fleet assignment are easy to follow.
  • A saveable, cancellable tutorial guides you through first cargo contracts, refuelling, repairs, and practice trading.

VERSION 2.6.45 · 04 Sep 2026

Switch between companies more reliably.

  • Pending saves stay assigned to the correct company; purchases are saved before switching.
  • During rapid switches, the last selected company remains authoritative. If saving fails, the current save stays open.

VERSION 2.6.44 · 04 Sep 2026

Go straight to a station. More fleet choices.

  • Station headers in the ownership view open the corresponding station details.
  • The ship market now offers Kestrel escort cutters and Rook fighter squadrons alongside Mule freighters, with combat power, operating costs, and purchase price.

VERSION 2.6.43 · 04 Sep 2026

Understand pirate attacks better.

  • The route report compares pirate combat power, transport ship, and support.
  • Hull, crew, ship bonuses, and escort protection are broken down separately. Incident and contract data remain available for paused routes.

Selection from the official game history through version 2.6.53. Purely internal maintenance changes are omitted.
